Can I keep my video's length and only replace the narration?

Short answer: Yes. Choose "Re-narrate, keep the video" when you create the project. The video is left exactly as it is, and the new voice is fitted to it.

Normally VideoPolisher speeds through dead time so the video fits a tighter narration. Sometimes the video must not change, for example when it matches slides, music or another edit.

How it works

  1. Create a project and pick Re-narrate, keep the video.
  2. Review the script as usual.
  3. The new narration is laid over your untouched video. Pauses are placed between sentences so each part is said while it is on screen.

Good to know

If the new script comes out much shorter or longer than the video, it is adjusted to fit, so you do not end up with a long silence at the end.
