Draft, 2026-09-11. This page is written from the actual system and its vendors and is waiting for legal review before launch. Nothing in it is a promise until the draft label is gone.
VideoPolisher is operated by KuduTek, Inc. ("we"). This policy covers the website at videopolisher.com and the application at app.videopolisher.com. We are the data controller for your account and for what you upload. Contact: support@videopolisher.com.
| Data | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| Your sign-in identity: email address, name, sign-in events | To let you in and to reach you about your account | Until you delete the account |
| What you upload: screen recordings, audio, scripts, web addresses you give us | The service itself: producing the polished outputs you asked for | Until you delete the project or the account |
| What we produce from it: transcripts, scripts, narration, rendered videos, clips, thumbnails, titles and tags | Same | Same |
| Project settings, saved recipes, run records, run logs, cost lines | To run the pipeline, show progress, help you when something fails, and account for machine time | Same |
| Support tickets and the threads on them | To answer you | Until you delete the account |
| Error reports from the app and our servers: stack trace, request path, your account id | To fix defects | 90 days |
| Billing details, when paid plans exist: name, billing address, invoices | To charge you and to issue invoices | As tax law requires; card numbers never reach us |
| A staff action log: which staff member did what to which record and why | Accountability | Kept; it references account ids, never your content |
We do not run advertising trackers. If we add analytics to the website, we will use a cookieless service or ask for consent first, and this page will say which.
Producing a polished video means sending parts of your project to service providers. Each is bound by a data processing agreement or API terms that forbid using your content for anything but our request, including training models.

| Clerk | Sign-in | Email, name, sign-in metadata |

| Google (Gemini API) | Cursor detection, optional image and video generation | Key frames, prompts |

The current list is also published in our repository as the sub-processor record and is updated before a new provider is used.
Processing and storage happen in the United States. If you are in the EU, the UK or Switzerland, transfers rest on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified and on Standard Contractual Clauses otherwise. EU-resident storage is planned as an option; it is not available yet.
Data moves over TLS. Storage and database access use scoped credentials held only on our servers, never in the browser. Media files are served through short-lived signed links. Staff access to customer records is limited to support needs and every staff action is logged.
The service is for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
We will post changes here with the date. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect.
